I’ve been delivering live workshops since early 2017 and one of the biggest challenges is reaching everyone geographically. I regularly receive messages and emails from parent/carer, asking if I’m delivering the workshops in specific areas. It’s part of my long term plan but as a Parent of three small children, especially my oldest son, Freddie, who has severe special needs, time isn’t always on my side.
My vision for building our community is big. My passion for passing on the tools needed to empower more of us to successfully advocate for our children and to live our best lives within the challenges we face, is huge. So, in order to help build our community further, connect with and empower more parents I’ve created my first online learning course. AND I’M REALLY REALLY EXCITED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU!
Below are a few photos of the planning and filming process and you can scroll down to find out what some of the Parent/Carers thought about it when they enrolled in the course. As always, any questions at all, please drop me a line to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop me a PM.
“I completed Aimee’s online course (Get Your Voice Heard), and would thoroughly recommend it to those Mums and Dads that want to participate from the comfort of their own home at a time that fits around their child. As a working mum to a son with severe needs, getting time off work to attend courses is sometimes hard. However, when Aimee mentioned her online course, it was perfect for me. It’s broken down into chapters, so I completed the course over about 4 evenings, at a time that suited me.The content was clear and concise, and there was an option to chat to others who were also doing the course, and suggested reading material should I want to read into the topics further. My other half did the course at the same time as well, that meant we both learnt and could discuss the topics raised, rather than one of us doing a course and having to explain the content to the other. It enables both parents to be pro-active.An excellent course, and Aimee really gave us some extra tools to head into meetings with professionals with. Thank you Aimee” Gemma
“Thanks so much to Aimee and her course. I am feeling centred and calm and positive ahead of my meeting in an hour, to gain an EHCP and place at SEN school for my boy.” Helen
“So much more than a Course! Aimée Mann Mentoring is a real person with real problems of her own, yet manages to help so many people with her brilliant down to earth and no nonsense approach. Fundamentally she is honest so her course doesn’t feel like a course but a chat with a friend that understands your problems. The techniques and advice given opens up a whole new world of support / resources for parents with SEN children. A must for anyone struggling to get the help they need for their child and themselves. Brilliant!” Nicky
“Finished the course! Really enjoyed it, thanks so much for the great course! The content is awesome.” Carrie
