Thanks for visiting my page. My name is Aimee. I am married to Ollie and we have three children, Freddie, Bella & Jago and our Jack Russell, Teddington. Life is pretty hectic with three small children, especially with all the additional effort and emotions that go with caring for Freddie who has special needs. Apart from the usual mummy tasks and being Freddie’s personal multitasking therapist, I also work in a voluntary capacity as a Parent Representative for SWAN UK https://www.undiagnosed.org.uk and through this blog, my Facebook page http://facebook.com/Aimeemannspecialneedsmentoring and future projects, I am building a mentoring community.
As a mother of a child with special needs, I have been through so much and experienced all the emotions from fear and love to grief, happiness, sorrow and joy. I’m sure these resonate with you too if you have a child with special needs and disabilities. I have learnt a lot along the way from some amazing family, friends, mentors and NLP practices that have been really useful and I’d love to share what I know with you. Plus, I’m still learning. I’d like to use this page for mentoring and as a place for us to build a community of support and knowledge.
